Counselling can help with a variety of issues. It changes with each client as every individual has their own needs.
You may need help with a specific problem, or space to feel heard and develop through exploration in the safety of confidentiality.
We will work together to find what feels right for you.
I work both short term and long term/open ended.
For me the relationship is one of the most important things in counselling.
I struggled to find the right counsellor for me initially so I understand how difficult it can be.
I strongly believe in the power of creativity and the ability it has to unlock things in the mind. I therefore use it in both my personal life and my counselling work.
I trained at the University of Suffolk and continue to develop my knowledge through workshops and training days.
I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework.
Bachelor of Arts in Counselling with Honours (University of Suffolk)
Foundation Degree of Arts in Counselling (University of Suffolk)
Access to Counselling Diploma (West Suffolk College)
I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ people or those who may be struggling with their gender or sexuality as this is something I am passionate about.
HOW I WORK
I trained as an integrative counsellor covering Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Jungian Therapy. Using these theories I can tailor my approach to fit with what works for you. I also use creativity for those who find it difficult to find or voice their emotions.
If you would like to arrange an initial session or have any questions you can contact me by phone, text or email.
If I am unable to speak to you please leave a message and I will respond as soon as possible.
